Nearly 1,100 students of Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technical College enter new school year
(Baonghean.vn) - In the 2020-2021 school year, the school strives to meet the criteria of a high-quality vocational school, focusing on improving the quality of the teaching staff, professional skills, and foreign languages and information technology of students; continuing to pilot international-level key vocational training; expanding cooperation with domestic and foreign businesses, universities and colleges in the field of training, solving output for learners.
On the morning of October 22, Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technical College held the opening ceremony of the 2020 - 2021 school year.

In the 2019-2020 school year, as well as the general situation of the whole country, the school was significantly affected by the Covid-19 epidemic. However, with the efforts of the staff, teachers and students, the school successfully carried out its tasks and basically completed the set targets, such as: The proportion of students graduating from the school was high; most of them were introduced to work in industrial parks and domestic economic groups such as Samsung Group, GL Vietnam, Hong Hai Group, companies in VSIP Industrial Park, WHA Nghe An... and were highly appreciated for their capacity, skills, ethics and character.
In addition, the school also consults and introduces labor export and study abroad in Korea and Japan with stable jobs and income. During the school year, nearly 800 students were contacted for internships; over 700 students found jobs domestically and internationally after 6 months of graduation, reaching a rate of nearly 90%.

At the 2020 National Vocational Skills Competition, the school had 6 students participating in 5 majors, all of whom won prizes (2 students won Bronze Medals in Industrial Electronics and Welding Technology; 4 students won Certificates of Excellent Vocational Skills in Industrial Electricity, Mechatronics and Automotive Technology).
In the startup idea contests organized by the General Department of Vocational Education and Training and the Nghe An Province Science and Technology Innovation Contest, the school has 1 project winning the Third Prize, 2 projects winning the Encouragement Prize; 4 products have entered the semi-finals, the final will be held in mid-November 2020...

At the opening ceremony, the Vietnam - Korea Technical College organized a support for the people in the Central provinces affected by floods. With the money donated by the staff, teachers, employees and all students, the school will use a part to support students from the Central provinces with difficult family circumstances who are studying at the school; the rest will be transferred to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province to support the people in the Central region affected by floods to overcome the consequences and stabilize their lives.
