(Baonghean.vn) - Nearly 200 people from Laos in Hom Cha Lon village, Vieng Thoong district, Bolikhamxay province received free medical examination and medicine.
During 2 days (May 26 and 27), Tam Hop Border Post (Nghe An Border Guard) coordinated with Tuong Duong District Medical Center and Tam Hop Commune to visit, examine and provide free medicine to people in Hom Cha Lon village, Vieng Thoong district, Bolikhamxay province (Laos).

Hom Cha Lon village is 20 km away from the Vietnam - Laos border by forest road. People are mainly lacking food and clothing, have no access to medical services, and have difficulty traveling and trading.
During this period, nearly 200 people were examined and given free medicine by doctors and nurses of Tam Hop Border Guard Station, Tuong Duong District Medical Center and Tam Hop Commune with a total value of over 6 million VND.
In addition, people are also equipped with skills to prevent and fight common diseases such as dengue fever, malaria, hygienic eating and living, and environmental sanitation.
