Accordingly, in the coming school year, Nghe An has 26,186 enrollment targets for public grade 10. Of which, the school with the most targets is Ky Son High School with 600 targets. The remaining schools have between 350 and 500 targets. In Vinh City, this year, Huynh Thuc Khang High School and Le Viet Thuat High School each have 518 targets, and Ha Huy Tap High School has 481 targets.
Also according to the plan, during the year, the whole province will have nearly 3,000 10th grade students who will have to study at non-public schools, of which Vinh City alone accounts for about 30 - 35%. The non-public school with the highest quota is Nguyen Truong To High School (Vinh City) with 378 quotas.
According to the regulations of the 10th grade entrance exam this year, in addition to registering for admission according to NV1, candidates can also register for NV2, NV3. However, schools in the top high schools in the area such as Huynh Thuc Khang High School, Quynh Luu 1 High School, Phan Dang Luu High School, Do Luong High School 1, 2, 3, 4 do not enroll candidates registering for NV2, NV3.

Nghe An's 10th grade entrance exam will be held on June 6 and 7 with three subjects: Math, Literature and Foreign Language. Math and Literature will be tested in 120 minutes and Foreign Language will be tested in 60 minutes.
