Mr. Pham Thai Son - Director of the Admissions and Communications Center of Ho Chi Minh City University of Food Industry - said that the school's new majors all come from the needs of businesses and employers.

"Through the survey, the school found that securities companies, banks, data analysis companies... are in great need of human resources who are bachelors of financial technology. Software companies need people who know math, data analysis; have ideas and ways to manage data. Therefore, the school has decided to open two new majors: financial technology and data science," said Mr. Son.

Regarding the majors of E-commerce and Law, Mr. Son said that Ho Chi Minh City University of Food Industry had the idea of ​​enrolling students for a long time. However, it was not until this year that the school had enough resources and experience in the training field to open these two majors.

This year,Ho Chi Minh City University of Management and Technologywill officially enroll students in the Multimedia Communications major; at the same time, complete the application to open a new major in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

"In the context of a shortage of human resources in the Multimedia Communications industry, especially high-quality human resources, the school has conducted research and surveyed the current situation and social needs to build and open a new major this year," said Mr. Doan.

Hong Bang International UniversityAnnouncement in 2023 to open 5 new majors: Public Health, Nutrition, Pharmacy (English program), Nursing (English program) and Digital Marketing (English program).

"Nutrition and Public Health are promising majors in the Health sector.
