Nearly 700 kg of drugs seized in a special case to arrest 4 subjects in Vinh City (Nghe An)
(Baonghean.vn) - In a drug case that was raided by the police on the afternoon of April 15 in Vinh City (Nghe An), nearly 700 kg of drugs were seized by the subjects transporting them from Laos to Vietnam.
Regarding the huge drug case seized in Nghe An, responding to Bao Ve Phap Luat newspaper, Colonel Vo Trong Hai - Director of Ha Tinh Provincial Police confirmed that the amount of drugs discovered and seized was nearly 700 kg.
“This amount of drugs was brought from Laos to Vietnam. We will continue to fight and clarify,” Colonel Hai told the newspaper.

Four suspects involved in the case were arrested by the police force, including: Pham Minh D. (born in 1980, residing in Nam Tu Liem district, Hanoi); Pham Trung Th. (born in 1974, residing in Trung Do ward, Vinh city); Nguyen Van Ng. (born in 1966, residing in Ha Huy Tap ward, Vinh city); Vo Manh L. (born in 1990, residing in Nam Dan town, Nam Dan district).
At the scene, according to initial information, the police seized a truck with license plate 37N-5194 and 30 boxes (each box had 2 speakers), inside 1 speaker were 10 packages of drugs.

Previously, on the afternoon of April 15, the Ministry of Public Security's Special Task Force, Ha Tinh Provincial Police presided over and coordinated with Nghe An Police to search and arrest a group of people who were buying, selling, and transporting drugs at a house in Lane 161, Phung Chi Kien Street, Ha Huy Tap Ward, Vinh City.
At the scene, the authorities arrested 4 subjects and seized a large quantity of drugs in 30 speaker boxes.

By 6:30 p.m. the same day, the search and arrest were basically completed. The suspects and the evidence were transferred to the Investigation Police Department of Ha Tinh Province Police for further investigation and expansion.
