(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of August 6, 2016, nearly 800 members of Tri Le and Que Phong villages, Nghe An gathered to set up tents in the forest to repair and renew the road to the 'oasis' Nam Tot.
The place name Nam Tot is associated with a separate headmaster of Tri Le 4 Primary School. To get to the end of Nam Tot, from Kim Son town, it takes a whole day of climbing mountains and wading through streams. Those are clear, cloudless days. During the rainy season, Tri Le 4 and Nam Tot become oases! No electricity, no roads, no phone signal... Tri Le is referred to as the "deep mountains and remote valleys" of Que Phong district! |
Concerned about the difficulties of the people and teachers and students of Tri Le 4 Primary School, Nghe An Provincial Youth Union launched the 7th day of volunteering. Nearly 800 members of Tri Le villages marched into the core of the forest to conquer difficult roads. |
Nearly 800 union members and young people set up tents right in the forest, started digging, leveling, and repairing many kilometers of dangerous roads... |
The Provincial Youth Union Secretary also "joined in" with young people in remote areas. |
Tri Le mountain forest became a festival. Singing and laughter filled the old forest... Young Thai and Mong people stood side by side! |
A new path is gradually taking shape under the hands and enthusiasm of young people. |
As a result, nearly 7km of road was dug up, leveled and repaired by union members and youths together, creating conditions for Tri Le 4 and Nam Tot to no longer be an oasis. |
Determination, youth and community awareness have created strength. |
Besides mobilizing to build roads, the Provincial Youth Union also donated books and notebooks to teachers and students of Tri Le 4 Primary School. |
