Nearly 800 people in the two border communes were examined by doctors from Nghe An Border Guard, My Ly Border Post and volunteer groups, given instructions on personal health care, environmental sanitation and free medicine, with the value of the medicine being nearly 30 million VND. This is the voluntary contribution of volunteer group members and benefactors to support policy families and poor people in the border areas.
On this occasion, the delegation also presented 28 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND, to war invalids and policy families in the two communes mentioned above.
After the floods caused by the tropical depression, timely medical examination, medicine provision, and guidance on health care and environmental sanitation for people contributed to improving the quality of community health care and showing gratitude to families of war invalids in the border areas./.
