Linking the implementation of Project 01/DA-TU with strengthening the grassroots political system

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of April 14, the Steering Committee for the implementation of Project 01/DA-TU of the Provincial Party Committee held a meeting to evaluate the results of the past time and deploy a number of key tasks in the coming time.

Project 01/DA-TU of the Provincial Party Committee on "Building Party cells and developing Party members in blocks, hamlets and villages without Party cells or Party members and blocks, hamlets and villages at risk of no longer having Party cells in the period 2016 - 2020" was issued on August 10, 2016.

Up to now, after 8 months of implementing the project, the district, city, town Party Committees, affiliated Party Committees, the Fatherland Front, and provincial-level organizations have actively participated in each assigned content and task, clearly defining responsibilities in implementing the project; strengthening the discovery and training of factors to introduce to the Party for admission of Party members.

Specifically, 135 people have been trained in Party sentiment, of which 27 party members have been admitted to the Party in areas within the scope of the project. Since then, the number of blocks, hamlets, and villages without party cells, party members, and at risk of no longer having party cells has been gradually reduced. For example, in Ky Son district, from 34 hamlets, there are now 20 hamlets at risk of no longer having party cells; Tuong Duong has 3 party cells at risk of no longer having party cells, all of which have admitted party members and added to the party cells; Nghi Loc has eliminated a hamlet without a party cell...

In addition to the initial results, at the meeting, representatives of agencies, units and organizations in the Steering Committee for the implementation of Project 01/DA-TU at the provincial level frankly pointed out the limitations and shortcomings. Comrade Le Quoc Khanh - Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization, said that some Party committees at all levels have not taken drastic action and have not had specific results.

The Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Nguyen Van Huy, stated: Each organization in the political system must identify and select specific factors to train and introduce resources to the Party, avoiding generalities. Along with developing factors, it is necessary to issue accompanying policies in areas within the scope of the project.

Concluding the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Steering Committee of Project 01/DA-TU, emphasized: The requirements for Party committees and the Fatherland Front, mass organizations in the political system need to identify the deployment and implementation of Project 01/DA-TU as an important and regular task to be determined, closely follow the grassroots, and create a truly sustainable change.

The process of directing Project 01/DA-TU must be associated with socio-economic development and strengthening the grassroots political system in general in the localities. Strengthen inspection, direction, and urging of districts, cities, town committees and grassroots to implement the project according to the mechanism of once per quarter. Along with developing party members, it is necessary to focus on increasing Border Guard officers in party cell activities to consolidate and build strong party cells.

On the part of the Fatherland Front and mass organizations, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested to strengthen activities and vibrant movements at the grassroots level, creating an environment and conditions for positive factors to develop, thereby discovering and nurturing resources for the Party.
