Meet Nghe An veterans who contributed to the Dien Bien Phu victory
(Baonghean.vn) - During the war, they were the warriors who directly contributed to the victory that "resounded throughout the five continents and shook the world". After peace, they returned to normal life with many hardships and worries, but never forgot the heroic memories of the Dien Bien Phu victory. After 64 years of the Dien Bien Phu victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2018), the veterans in Nghe An who participated in the campaign still remember "56 days and nights of digging mountains and sleeping in tunnels, pouring rain and eating rice balls, blood mixed with mud".
