Mrs. Nga was murdered by her husband, Mr. T. (53 years old).in the early morning of May 23.

Mr. Le Van Duyen (residing in Dong Thuan commune, Thoi Lai district) - a boatman, said that at around 7:30 a.m. on May 23, while taking passengers across the river, he was shocked to discover Ms. Nga's body floating near the water hyacinth, so he reported it to the police.
Mr. D. (Mrs. Nga's eldest son) said that after killing his wife, Mr. T. called his son to say he had killed his wife and asked him to come back to retrieve her body.
According to family members, Mr. T. was jealous, which led to conflicts between the couple. Recently, the couple filed for divorce. Mrs. Nga makes a living by ferrying and raising pigs.
The case is currently under investigation by the police.
