On July 18, District 8 Police, Ho Chi Minh City are detaining Nguyen Van Dung (born 1974, residing in District 8) to investigate and handle the act of "killing”.
Dung's victims were NTT (born in 1990) and D.THD (born in 1975, Dung's wife). Both died from multiple injuries.

Earlier on the evening of July 17, many people on Me Coc Street, Ward 15, District 8 heard screams and ran out to check. Here, people discovered T with many injuries on his body, lost blood and died later, so they reported it to the police. As for the subject, after committing the crime, he left the scene.
District 8 police were present at the scene to investigate the cause and search for the perpetrator. While investigating the case of Mr. T being stabbed, District 8 police continued to receive a report that Ms. D was stabbed to death not far from this location. The perpetrator, Nguyen Van Dung, turned himself in to the police station of Ward 15, District 8.

At the investigation agency, Dung confessed that after calling his wife, Ms. D, Dung got jealous and took scissors to find Mr. T to talk. When they met Mr. T, they argued. Dung used scissors to stab Mr. T, then went home to find his wife and then used scissors to commit the crime.
Ms. D was seriously injured and taken to the emergency room but did not survive. Dung confessed that he suspected Ms. D and Mr. T of having an illicit relationship, so he killed her.
