Coffee prices today January 22, 2025: All prices increased sharply beyond expectations
Today's domestic coffee price, January 22, is at 119,300 - 120,500 VND/kg, a sharp increase of 1,000 - 1,500 VND/kg compared to yesterday. Today's coffee price increased sharply on the day Mr. Donald Trump officially returned to the White House.
Domestic coffee prices today
Domestic coffee prices in the Central Highlands region today increased sharply from 1,000 to 1,500 VND/kg, fluctuating between 119,300 - 120,500 VND/kg.
Accordingly, traders in Dak Nong province are purchasing coffee at the highest price of 120,500 VND/kg. A sharp increase of 1,500 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
Coffee price in Dak Lak province is 120,000 VND/kg, an increase of 1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
Coffee prices in Gia Lai province also increased sharply by VND1,000/kg and were traded at VND120,000/kg.
In Lam Dong province, coffee prices increased sharply by VND1,100/kg to VND119,300/kg.

Arabica Coffee (New York):
March 2025 delivery: Up 6.45 cents/lb, to 334.8 cents/lb.
May 2025 delivery: Up 6.1 cents/lb, to 330.7 cents/lb.
Similar to the developments on the day of the 47th US Presidential election in early November 2024, Robusta coffee prices increased sharply. On the day the new US President was inaugurated, coffee prices also had the highest increase in more than a month.
According to expert Nguyen Quang Binh, the USD plunged along with the gold price falling again, while robusta on the London Stock Exchange seized the opportunity to skyrocket to over 5,100 USD/ton, far exceeding the expectations of technical analysts.
Coffee exports from top producer Brazil could slow this year, a lean year in the country’s biennial crop cycle, while last year’s dry weather could reduce the 2025-2026 crop, traders said.
