Pretending to be a traffic police officer, a young man stole 20 million VND from a bus company.
Claiming to be a traffic police officer, Le Minh Hung asked the bus company to transfer documents and goods to a nearby checkpoint and gave money to another person.
On October 5, Dak Lak Provincial Police confirmed that the investigation agency is temporarily detaining Le Minh Hung (32 years old, residing in Cu Ebuor commune, Buon Ma Thuot city) to investigate the act of fraud and property appropriation.

Previously, some bus companies in Dak Lak reported to the authorities about a person claiming to be a traffic police officer asking them to deliver documents and goods to traffic police stations.
When the bus company brought the documents to this checkpoint, a person stood up to receive them and asked to borrow money from the bus company.
After a period of surveillance, the detectives arrested Le Minh Hung. At the investigation agency, Hung confessed that in two months of impersonating a traffic police officer, he had committed fraud against more than 10 bus companies, appropriating 20 million VND.
