Pig price continues to decrease from 1,000 to 2,000 VND/kg
The price of live pigs today, September 30, continued to decrease from 1,000 to 2,000 VND/kg across the board and recorded a peak of 56,000 VND/kg.
In the Northern region, the price of live pigs today decreased by 1,000 - 2,000 VND/kg widely and was recorded at around 54,000 - 56,000 VND/kg.

In the Central Highlands region, the price of live pigs today continued to decrease sporadically by 1,000 - 2,000 VND/kg in some localities and fluctuated between 54,000 - 56,000 VND/kg.
After a price reduction, traders in Ha Tinh are currently purchasing live pigs at 55,000 VND/kg.
Recording a decrease of 2,000 VND/kg, the price of live pigs in Thanh Hoa and Nghe An both reached 54,000 VND/kg, equal to Dak Lak. This is also the lowest price in the region.

Meanwhile, in the Southeast region, prices range from 71,000 VND/kg to 72,000 VND/kg. Specifically, Binh Phuoc pepper is being purchased at 71,000 VND/kg. Meanwhile, Ba Ria Vung Tau pepper remains the same as yesterday at 72,000 VND/kg.
Data from the General Department of Customs shows that from September 1 to September 15, 2023, the amount of domestic pepper exported was 7,215 tons with a value of 26.432 million USD, accumulated to September 15, 2023 was 195,274 tons, equivalent to 641.936 million USD.
Domestic coffee price highest at 66,800 VND/kg

According to the latest statistics of the General Department of Customs, soybean imports in August 2023 reached 166,091 tons, equivalent to 96.65 million USD, with an average price of 581.9 USD/ton.
In the first 8 months of 2023, the country imported nearly 1.37 million tons of soybeans, worth nearly 876.75 million USD, with an average price of 637.8 USD/ton, up 7.1% in volume, but down 2% in turnover and down 8.5% in price compared to the first 8 months of 2022.
Soybeans imported to Vietnam from the Brazilian market were the largest, in August 2023, increasing sharply by 101.4% in volume and 108.5% in value compared to July 2023, the price increased slightly by 3.5%, reaching 142,958 tons, equivalent to 81.03 million USD, price 566.8 USD/ton.
Next is the US market - the second largest market in the first 8 months of 2023, reaching 498,347 tons, equivalent to 340.73 million USD, price 683.7 USD/ton, accounting for 36.3% of the total volume and 38.9% of the total soybean import turnover of the country.
