Storm No. 3 caused major damage in 22 provinces and cities, with 25,011 livestock and 3,179,300 poultry lost. Hai Phong and Quang Ninh were the two localities most severely affected, with thousands of livestock and poultry killed.

Livestock farms were damaged by the storm, from roofs to electrical systems, causing production to stagnate. Due to the lack of time to evacuate, many livestock died due to flooding and rain. Barns were flooded and damaged, generators and feed warehouses were broken, causing heavy losses to the livestock industry.

One month after the storm, despite many difficulties, farmers have begun to restock, especially poultry, in preparation for the 2025 Lunar New Year. Restocking needs to be closely monitored to ensure safety and efficiency, especially environmental sanitation and barns.
