After two consecutive days of increase, pepper prices have recorded a downward adjustment. Trading activities in the market have been quite slow, causing prices to not fluctuate much.
However, experts say the year-end holiday season will still be an important factor driving pepper prices in the short term, thanks to increased demand from international markets.
Currently, pepper inventories in Vietnam are at a very low level, putting pressure on market supply. In addition, the 2025 harvest is forecast to be 1-2 months later than usual.

However, the Fed also signaled that the pace of monetary policy easing would slow down in the coming time, continuing to put pressure on commodity markets, including pepper.
Despite the current difficulties in pepper prices, the outlook for 2025 is positive. Marcellus Giovanni, CEO of Brazspice Spices International, predicts that pepper prices will increase in 2025 compared to 2024.
