Pepper price today September 23, 2025 in the domestic market
Pepper prices today, September 24, in key growing areas fluctuated. Accordingly, the domestic pepper price level remained at 147,000 VND/kg to 150,000 VND/kg.
In the Central Highlands region, pepper price today in Dak Lak is unchanged compared to yesterday, currently at 150,000 VND/kg.
Pepper price today in Gia Lai is unchanged compared to yesterday, currently at 147,000 VND/kg.
Pepper price today in Lam Dong (old Dak Nong) decreased by 1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently at 149,000 VND/kg.
In the Southeast region, pepper price today in Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Ba Ria - Vung Tau) is currently at 150,000 VND/kg, an increase of 1000 VND/kg compared to yesterday. Dong Nai increased by 1000 VND/kg compared to yesterday at 150,000 VND/kg.
In addition, today's pepper price in old Binh Phuoc remains unchanged compared to yesterday, currently at 147,000 VND/kg.

Domestic pepper prices remained stable last week, fluctuating from 144,000 to 152,000 VND/kg.
In the short term, pepper prices are unlikely to increase sharply but may recover by the end of the year when demand increases. In the long term, many experts are optimistic that with global supply decreasing and inventories low, pepper prices are likely to increase.
A positive trend is that organic pepper production in Vietnam is growing. Many sustainable farming models have achieved international certification, helping to increase value and expand export markets to high-end countries.
Pepper price today September 24 in the world market
In the world market, based on quotes from exporting enterprises and export prices in various countries, the International Pepper Association (IPC) has updated the prices of all types of pepper traded in the international market as of September 23 (local time) as follows:
Indonesia’s Lampung black pepper price remained unchanged from yesterday at $7,027 per ton. Meanwhile, Muntok white pepper price decreased slightly from yesterday at $9,957 per ton.
Brazilian ASTA black pepper prices remained unchanged from yesterday at $6,600/mt.
Malaysia’s ASTA black pepper price remained unchanged from yesterday at $9,700/ton. Meanwhile, the country’s ASTA white pepper price also remained unchanged from yesterday at $12,900/ton.
Prices of all types of Vietnamese pepper remained unchanged compared to yesterday. Of which, the price of Vietnamese black pepper 500 gr/l reached 6,600 USD/ton; 550 gr/l reached 6,800 USD/ton.
In addition, Vietnam's white pepper price remained unchanged from yesterday at 9,250 USD/ton.
According to data from Europe, in the first 7 months of 2025, Germany imported 16.57 thousand tons of pepper from outside the EU, with a value of up to 135.59 million USD. Compared to the same period last year, the import volume increased by 26.6% and the value increased by 90.9%.
The average import price in July was 8,530 USD/ton, slightly down from June but still 44.4% higher than the same period in 2024. In 7 months alone, the average price increased sharply by 51.2%.
Vietnam is the largest pepper supplier to Germany, accounting for more than 64% in both volume and value. Brazil is second with a share of about 23%. Notably, imports from both Vietnam and Brazil have grown strongly in value.
Besides these two main sources, Germany also increased pepper imports from Sri Lanka, Cambodia and some other markets.
