V.League player transfer value
(Baonghean.vn) - Before 2019, most Vietnamese players had not been noticed and valued by Transfermarkt, but now the total transfer value of V.League has reached 33.89 million euros (a slight decrease compared to last year).
If V-League 2019 was only valued at 7.3 million USD by Transfermarkt, last year V-League 2020 had the 3rd highest value in Southeast Asia with 37 million USD, after Thailand (69.5 million USD) and Indonesia (67.6 million USD). Due to not competing at the national team level and regional tournaments, the transfer value of V.League players has decreased slightly compared to last season.
Compare Thailand and Vietnam
We can refer to the 16 teams participating in Thai.League 1 with a total value of 67.48 million euros, each player has an average transfer price of 144,000 euros. In Thailand, Buriram United Club has the most expensive total player transfer price of 6.90 million euros, and Cang FC has a player transfer price of 6.30 million euros.
Like Vietnam, Thai football favors Brazilian players, the most expensive being right-back Adrade (32 years old, True Bangkok United) at 800,000 euros. Currently, the transfer prices of both foreign and domestic players in Thai-League 1 are higher than our V.League in Vietnam.
According to Transfermarkt, total value of players of 14 teamsV.League(408 players) is currently 33.89 million euros, each player has an average transfer value of about 83,000 euros. At the top, of course, is Hanoi FC with a star-studded squad of both domestic and foreign players with a player transfer value of up to 4.33 million euros, followed by champion Viettel with 3.65 million euros. The teamSLNAvalued at 2.41 million euros, ranked 7th, above neighbor Thanh Hoa at 2.34 million euros, but 2.47 million euros behind Binh Duong.
Newcomer T.Binh Dinh is only valued at 970,000 euros, ranking last, Nam Dinh is ranked above at 1.43 million euros. Despite having 6 foreign players and overseas Vietnamese players, Hai Phong is only valued at 2.1 million euros, ranking 9th.

The most expensive players on the Vietnamese football field, according to Transfermarkt, have a transfer value of 400,000 euros, including Pedro (Viettel), Bruno (Hanoi FC) and Lee Nguyen (HCMC). The foreign players with a transfer value of 350,000 euros include M. Bruno (Viettel), Junior (HCMC). The most expensive Vietnamese players with a transfer value of 300,000 euros include Van Toan (HAGL), Tien Linh (Binh Duong), Quang Hai (Hanoi FC), Ngoc Hai (Viettel), all of whom are national team players.
After returning to Binh Dinh and scoring his first goal, the defenderHo Tuan Taihas a price of 250,000 euros, equal to his seniors Van Quyet, Hung Dung, Duy Manh, Thanh Chung (Hanoi), To Van Vu (Binh Duong), Hai Huy (Quang Ninh), Cong Phuong (HAGL).
Goalkeeper Van Cong of Hanoi FC is valued at 175,000 euros, the highest among the goalkeepers. Central midfielder Cao Van Trien (Saigon), a player who plans to play in J2.League 2021, is also only valued at 150,000 euros.
Most surprisingly, center-back Pape Diakate, valued at 300,000 euros, is still unemployed after his contract was terminated by Ho Chi Minh City, and reserve goalkeeper Bui Tien Dung is also valued at 200,000 euros. SLNA center-back Igor Jelic is also valued at 300,000 euros by Transfermarkt.
Looking at Nghe An
In the Nghe An team, in addition to Igor Jelic, who is the most valuable, Van Duc and Van Khanh are also valued at 200,000 euros. It seems that injuries and lack of playing time have caused the national team player number 20 to lose value, while Peter, although valued at 250,000 euros, is far less effective.

Center back Thai Ba Sang is ranked on par with Xuan Manh, Bruno, and goalkeeper Van Hoang with a price of 150,000 euros, which is considered reasonable. The duotmidfielder Dang Van LamDinh Chau's price of 100,000 euros after his second season playing in V.League is a good sign for SLNA.
Currently, except for goalkeeper Van Hung who is injured for a long time and out of action, and a few young players who have not played in the V.League, all Nghe An players are "on the floor". This is a good sign for SLNA because, although not exactly accurate, this is also an important channel for the coaching staff and players to refer to when they want to participate in the transfer.
