Transfer value of Vietnam U23 players increases rapidly
After winning second place in the 2018 AFC U23 Championship in China, the transfer value of Vietnam U23 players has increased rapidly. Some writers specializing in Asian football believe that the current value of some Vietnam U23 players is up to millions of USD.
According to Asian football commentator Gabriel Tan of FOX Sports, some Thai and Malaysian clubs have valued the top star of the Vietnam U23 team at the 2018 AFC U23 Championship, Quang Hai, at about 4 million USD (more than 90 billion VND).

This is a very high number, hardly imaginable before the U23 Asian Cup this year started. Because before that, a young player like Quang Hai had a transfer fee of only a few billion VND.
In addition to midfielder Quang Hai, the transfer prices of several other players in the Vietnam U23 team also skyrocketed after the tournament. Typically, goalkeeper Bui Tien Dung was valued at around 3 million USD (nearly 70 billion VND), equal to the price that Buriram United (Thailand) once valued Cong Phuong.
The expensive players in the U23 Vietnam team, highly appreciated by FOX Sports in the transfer market, include captain midfielder Luong Xuan Truong and fullback Vu Van Thanh.
The above players are worth about 50 - 60 billion VND/person. However, the possibility of Xuan Truong and Van Thanh playing abroad is very low, because Mr. Duc wants them to stay and play for HA Gia Lai in V-League, for the team's goal of winning the tournament in the near future.
