Gold price 'evaporated' nearly half a million VND/tael after 1 night
Opening the trading session on the morning of October 8, SJC gold price decreased by 400,000 VND/tael compared to yesterday, listed at 55.60 - 56.10 million VND/tael (buy - sell).
Opening the trading session this morning (October 8), Saigon Jewelry Company listedgold priceat 55.60 - 56.10 million VND/tael (buy - sell), down 400,000 VND/tael in both buying and selling directions compared to the close of the previous trading session. The difference between buying and selling prices is currently 500,000 VND/tael.
At the same time, DOJI Group listed the gold buying and selling prices at 55.60 - 56.05 million VND/tael, down 500,000 VND/tael for buying and down 450,000 VND/tael for selling compared to the closing price on October 7. The selling price difference is currently 450,000 VND/tael higher than the buying price.
On the morning of October 8 (Vietnam time), on the world market, the gold price is currently trading around 1,885.4 USD/oz, down 26.6 USD/oz compared to the trading session at the end of last week. Converted according to the USD price at Vietcombank (23,290 VND/USD), the world gold price is equivalent to 52.90 million VND/tael, 3.2 million VND/tael lower than the selling price of SJC gold.

At the close of trading on October 7, Saigon Jewelry Company listed the buying price of gold at VND55.70 million/tael; the selling price was VND56.20 million/tael, both up VND200,000/tael for buying and selling compared to the opening of the trading session on the same day. The difference in selling price is still VND500,000/tael higher than the buying price.
At the same time, DOJI Group listed the gold buying and selling prices at 55.75 - 56.05 million VND/tael, an increase of 250,000 VND/tael for buying and 50,000 VND/tael for selling compared to the opening of the trading session on the morning of October 7. The difference between the buying and selling prices of gold narrowed to 300,000 VND/tael.
World gold price closedThe trading session on October 7 (Vietnam time) in the US market stood at 1,881.2 USD/oz, up 6.3 USD/oz compared to early morning. According to the USD exchange rate at Vietcombank on October 7, 1 USD = 23,290 VND, the world gold price is equivalent to 52.78 million VND/tael, 3.42 million VND/tael lower than the selling price of SJC gold./.
