Gold price "stops falling"
Domestic gold prices have stopped falling after two consecutive sessions of decline, currently stable around 33.5 million VND/tael for buying.

On the morning of March 23, the buying and selling price of SJC gold in Ho Chi Minh City was listed by Saigon Jewelry Company at 33.50 - 33.75 million VND/tael, almost unchanged from the closing price yesterday.
In Hanoi, the retail price of SJC gold bars announced by DOJI Group is 33.62 million VND/tael, the selling price is 33.54 million VND/tael.
The difference between the buying and selling price of gold in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City has not changed much compared to previous sessions. In Hanoi, the difference remains at VND80,000/tael; in Ho Chi Minh City, the difference is VND250,000/tael.
In the world market, gold prices only increased slightly, so they have not yet reached the 1,250 USD/ounce mark recorded in the middle of last week after the US Federal Reserve (FED) decided to temporarily postpone raising USD interest rates.
According to Kitco News, the price of gold futures for April delivery on the Comex floor increased by 3.4 USD/ounce, reaching 1,247.60 USD/ounce. Converted to Vietnamese Dong, each tael of world gold is currently equivalent to 34 million VND/tael.
