SJC gold price at Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited is also traded by the enterprise at 69.07 - 69.73 million VND/tael (buy - sell). Meanwhile, at Bao Tin Manh Hai, it is being traded at 69.06 - 69.88 million VND/tael (buy - sell).

USD price maintains upward momentum

The USD exchange rate today maintained its upward momentum. The world USD index fell below the 106 point mark after many days of high growth.

The central VND/USD exchange rate announced by the State Bank today is adjusted to 24,063 VND/USD, down 6 VND compared to the same time yesterday.

Currently, the exchange rate allowed for trading by commercial banks ranges from 23,400 - 25,216 VND/USD. The US Dollar exchange rate has also been brought to the buying and selling range by the State Bank of Vietnam from 23,400 to 25,216 VND/USD.

The USD exchange rate at banks and domestic foreign exchange rates this morning recorded a series of upward adjustments at banks. Specifically, Vietcombank has a buying price of 24,245 and a selling price of 24,585, an increase of 35 VND compared to the closing price of yesterday's trading session. The current USD buying and selling prices are in the range of 23,400 - 25,300 VND/USD.

Japanese Yen Exchange Rateincreased sharply

Today's Japanese Yen exchange rate surveyed on the morning of October 11, 2023 at banks, specifically as follows:

At Vietcombank, the buying rate is 159.23 VND/JPY and the selling rate is 168.55 VND/JPY, up 0.34 VND and 0.36 VND, respectively. At Vietinbank, the Yen rate increased by 0.34 VND for buying and 0.36 VND for selling, equivalent to 159.94 VND/JPY and 169.64 VND/JPY. At BIDV, the buying rate increased by 0.65 VND and the selling rate increased by 0.7 VND, reaching 160.78 VND/JPY and 169.12 VND/JPY, respectively. At Agribank, the buying and selling rates were 161.63 VND/JPY and 165.64 VND/JPY, up 0.53 VND for buying and 0.55 VND for selling.

At Eximbank, the buying rate increased by 0.53 VND and the selling rate increased by 0.55 VND, respectively, to 165.64 VND/JPY and 165.91 VND/JPY. At Techcombank, the Japanese Yen exchange rate increased by 0.55 VND in both buying and selling rates, respectively, to 157.3 VND/JPY and 169.57 VND/JPY. At Sacombank, the Japanese Yen exchange rate increased by 0.43 VND in buying, corresponding to 161.42 VND/JPY, and increased by 0.45 VND in selling, corresponding to 167.97 VND/JPY.

Thus, today Agribank is the bank with the highest Japanese Yen buying rate and at the same time is also the bank with the lowest selling rate among the surveyed banks.

Domestic coffee prices fall sharply

Domestic coffee prices were updated at 4:40 a.m. on October 11, 2023 as follows: Coffee prices continued to decrease by 500 VND/kg, currently the average coffee price in the Central Highlands provinces is around 63,600 VND/kg.

The price of green coffee beans (coffee beans, fresh coffee beans) in Lam Dong province in districts such as Bao Loc, Di Linh, Lam Ha, is purchased at 63,200 VND/kg.

In Cu M'gar district, Dak Lak province, coffee price is currently at 63,700 VND/kg. In Ea H'leo district, Buon Ho town, it is purchased at the same price of 63,800 VND/kg.
