(Baonghean.vn) - Gold price increased to nearly 91 million VND/tael; Japanese Yen continued to weaken; Gasoline price increased; Domestic coffee price increased slightly, are the market information updated on the morning of May 21.

Gold price close to 91 million VND/tael

SJC gold increased the most in the buying direction at 1.55 million VND/tael, the selling direction was 1 million VND/tael, pushing the price close to 91 million VND.

Today's 9999 gold price is listed by DOJI at 89.00 million VND/tael for buying and 90.50 million VND/tael for selling.

At Mi Hong Gold and Gemstone Company, at the time of survey, the listed price of SJC gold was at 89.20 - 90.40 million VND/tael (buy - sell).

SJC gold price at Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited is also traded by the enterprise at 89.10 - 90.70 million VND/tael (buy - sell).

According to Kitco, the world gold price recorded at 5:00 a.m. today, Vietnam time, was at 2,424.90 USD/ounce. Today's gold price is 10.4 USD/ounce different from yesterday's gold price. Converted according to the current exchange rate at Vietcombank, the world gold price is about 73.5 million VND/tael (excluding taxes and fees).

Thus, the price of SJC gold bars is still 15.5 million VND/tael higher than the international gold price. Meanwhile, at Bao Tin Manh Hai, it is being traded at 89.60 - 90.90 million VND/tael (buy - sell).

Gasoline prices on the rise

On May 20, international oil prices continued to increase from last week. Brent oil prices exceeded 84 USD/barrel, WTI oil prices reached 80 USD/barrel.

Japanese Yen exchange rate continues to weaken

The Japanese Yen exchange rate continues its weakening streak.

Vietinbank, Yen exchange rate decreased by 0.51 VND in both buying and selling directions, equivalent to 158.75 VND/JPY and 168.45 VND/JPY.

At BIDV Bank, the Japanese Yen exchange rate increased by 0.26 VND in buying and increased by 0.3 VND in selling, reaching 158.99 VND/JPY and 166.69 VND/JPY, respectively.

Agribank, the Japanese Yen exchange rate for buying and selling is 159.36 VND/JPY and 167.28 VND/JPY - down 0.15 VND for buying and down 0.23 VND for selling.

At Eximbank, the buying price increased by 0.38 VND and the selling price increased by 0.37 VND, respectively at 160.67 VND/JPY and 166.04 VND/JPY.

Coffee prices increased slightly today

Domestic coffee prices were updated at 5:24 a.m. on May 21 as follows: Domestic coffee prices increased by 100 - 400 VND/kg. Currently, the average purchase price in the Central Highlands provinces is 104,000 VND/kg, the highest purchase price in Dak Nong province is 104,200 VND/kg.
