USD price continues to increase strongly

The central USD/VND exchange rate announced by the State Bank today increased by 6 VND compared to October 3, currently at 24,065 VND/USD.

Currently, the USD exchange rate that commercial banks are allowed to trade is from 23,400 - 25,218 VND/USD. The selling exchange rate is also adjusted by the State Bank of Vietnam to the buying and selling range of 23,400 - 25,218 VND/USD.

The USD exchange rate at banks and domestic foreign exchange rates this morning recorded a series of upward adjustments at banks. Specifically, Vietcombank increased 60 VND for the buying price of 24,210 and the selling price of 24,550. The buying and selling prices of USD are currently in the range of 23,400 - 25,300 VND/USD.

Japanese Yen Exchange Rateslight increase

Japanese Yen exchange rate surveyed on the morning of October 4, 2023 at banks, specifically as follows:

At Vietcombank, the Japanese Yen exchange rate is 158.19 VND/JPY for buying and 167.45 VND/JPY for selling, up 0.39 VND and 0.41 VND respectively. At Vietinbank, the Yen exchange rate increased by 1.06 VND for both buying and selling, equivalent to 159.46 VND/JPY and 169.16 VND/JPY. At BIDV, the buying rate increased by 0.25 VND and the selling rate increased to 159.6 VND/JPY and 167.88 VND/JPY. At Agribank, the buying and selling rates were 160.46 VND/JPY and 164.42 VND/JPY, up 0.36 VND.

At Eximbank, the Japanese Yen exchange rate increased by 0.05 VND at the buying price and increased by 0.12 VND at the selling price, respectively to 160.28 VND/JPY and 164.81 VND/JPY. At Techcombank, the Japanese Yen exchange rate increased by 0.13 VND at the buying price and increased by 0.162 VND at the selling price, respectively to 156.05 VND/JPY and 168.34 VND/JPY. The price of green coffee beans (coffee beans, fresh coffee beans) in Lam Dong province in districts such as Bao Loc, Di Linh, Lam Ha, coffee is purchased at 65,800 VND/kg.

In Cu M'gar district, Dak Lak province, coffee price is currently at 66,300 VND/kg. In Ea H'leo district, Buon Ho town, it is purchased at the same price of 66,400 VND/kg.
