Japanese Yen and VCB Yen exchange rates continue to decline
Today's Japanese Yen exchange rate surveyed on the morning of September 27, 2023 at banks, specifically as follows:
At Vietcombank, the Japanese Yen exchange rate is 159.10 VND/JPY and the selling rate is 168.41 VND/JPY, down 0.5 VND and 0.54 VND respectively. At Vietinbank, the Yen exchange rate decreased 0.32 VND in both buying and selling, equivalent to 159.47 VND/JPY and 169.17 VND/JPY. At BIDV, the buying rate decreased 0.47 VND in buying and 0.5 VND in selling to 160.52 VND/JPY and 168.85 VND/JPY. At Agribank, the buying and selling rates are 161.44 VND/JPY and 165.43 VND/JPY, down 0.49 VND in buying and 0.51 VND in selling.
At Eximbank, the buying and selling rates decreased by 0.43 VND and 0.44 VND, respectively, to 161.21 VND/JPY and 165.76 VND/JPY. At Techcombank, the Japanese Yen rate decreased by 0.45 VND and 0.47 VND, respectively, to 156.95 VND/JPY and 169.23 VND/JPY. USD price increases at banks
The central USD/VND exchange rate today (September 27) announced by the State Bank increased by 8 VND, currently at 24,084 VND/USD.
Currently, the USD exchange rate that commercial banks are allowed to trade is from 23,400 - 25,238 VND/USD. The selling exchange rate is also adjusted by the State Bank of Vietnam to the buying and selling range of 23,400 - 25,238 VND/USD.

Domestic coffee prices decreased by 400 VND/kg
Domestic coffee prices were updated at 4:25 a.m. on September 27, 2023, down 400 VND/kg, with coffee prices in the Central Highlands provinces averaging 66,100 VND/kg.
Specifically, the coffee purchase price in Gia Lai and Kon Tum provinces on September 27, 2023 was VND 66,000/kg. In Dak Nong province, coffee was purchased at VND 66,400/kg.
The price of green coffee beans (coffee beans, fresh coffee beans) in Lam Dong province in districts such as Bao Loc, Di Linh, Lam Ha, coffee is purchased at 65,700 VND/kg.
In Cu M'gar district, Dak Lak province, coffee price is currently at 66,100 VND/kg. In Ea H'leo district, Buon Ho town, it is purchased at the same price of 66,200 VND/kg.
According to preliminary statistics from the General Department of Customs, in the first 8 months of 2023, coffee exports decreased by 5.4% in volume, but increased by 3.1% in value and 8.9% in price compared to the first 8 months of 2022, reaching over 1.2 million tons, equivalent to nearly 2.96 billion USD, with an average price of 2,463 USD/ton.
In the first 8 months of 2023, Germany was Vietnam's largest coffee export market, accounting for 12% of the total volume and 11% of the country's total coffee export turnover; estimated at 145,896 tons, equivalent to 323.52 million USD.
