Gold price skyrockets, surpassing 33 million VND/tael
Domestic SJC gold price increased following the world trend, rising above the 33 million VND/tael mark this morning (February 4).
Specifically, at 8:00 a.m. on February 4, the SJC gold price listed by Saigon Jewelry Company for buying and selling in Ho Chi Minh City was VND32.80 - 33.07 million/tael, an increase of VND70,000/tael compared to the closing price yesterday.
At the same time, in Hanoi, DOJI Group also adjusted the gold buying and selling price by 120,000 VND/tael to 33.05 - 33.15 million VND/tael.

Due to the same increase, the difference between the buying and selling price of gold in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City remains unchanged compared to the previous trading session. Currently, the difference in Hanoi is 100,000 VND/tael, while in Ho Chi Minh City it is 270,000 VND/tael.
In the world market, gold prices also witnessed a sudden increase. According to Kitco News, the price of gold futures for April delivery on the Comex floor last night jumped by 16.20 USD to 1,143.50 USD/ounce.
Converted to Vietnamese currency, the world gold price is equivalent to 30.5 million VND/tael, 2.5 million VND/tael lower than SJC gold./.
