Gasoline prices may increase sharply tomorrow (July 17)

According to data from the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the average price of finished gasoline in the Singapore market in this cycle is 72 USD per barrel for RON 92 and 74.3 USD per barrel for RON 95, up 6-7.2% compared to the previous period. Along with that, oil prices are also increasing, reaching 81 USD per barrel on some days.

Sharing with reporters, the leader of a major enterprise in Ho Chi Minh City said that the price of gasoline and oil has continued to increase sharply over the past 15 days, so the adjustment period tomorrow (July 17) may increase by around 600-800 VND per liter, and oil by 400 VND. However, if the fund deduction is reduced by around 300-400 VND, the price of gasoline will only increase slightly.

"In the previous adjustment period, gasoline prices increased, so this period, instead of a shocking increase, the operator may lean more towards the option of reducing fund deductions," the leader of Binh Duong petroleum enterprise predicted.

On July 2, each liter of RON 95 gasoline increased by 383 VND, E5 RON 92 increased by 420 VND, and diesel increased by 105-326 VND per liter and kilogram. After adjustment, E5 RON 92 gasoline increased to a maximum of 19,653 VND per liter; RON 95 gasoline was 20,517 VND; diesel was 16,949 VND per liter...The joint ministries have adjusted the deduction level for the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund for E5 RON 92 gasoline to 200 VND per liter, down 100 VND compared to the previous period; RON 95 gasoline down 200 VND.
