Oil prices today September 24, 2024: World oil prices decreased slightly, down 0.57% for WTI oil and down 0.47% for Brent oil.

At 6:52 a.m. this morning, Vietnam time, WTI crude oil price stood at 70.599 USD/barrel, down slightly by 0.57%, while Brent oil was at 74.138 USD/barrel, down 0.47%.
Compared to the previous month, WTI and Brent crude oil prices decreased by 8.82% and 9.00%, respectively. Compared to last year, the decrease was 19.94% for WTI and 18.09% for Brent.
Brent crude futures were down 0.8% at $73.90 a barrel, reflecting concerns about falling demand from China and a slowdown in European manufacturing.
The eurozone is seeing an unexpected decline in business activity, with services and manufacturing both struggling.
The market is expecting stimulus measures from the Chinese government to boost fuel demand, after the country's refined oil imports fell sharply this year.

Domestic gasoline prices today
On September 24, 2024, domestic retail gasoline prices were adjusted according to the decision of the Ministry of Finance - Industry and Trade on the afternoon of September 19.
- E5 RON 92 gasoline price increased slightly, only 51 VND/liter more, price does not exceed 18,941 VND/liter.
- RON95-III gasoline also increased in price, by 127 VND/liter, with the price not exceeding 19,762 VND/liter.
- On the contrary, diesel price decreased by 122 VND/liter, price did not exceed 17,043 VND/liter.
- Kerosene also decreased in price, down 239 VND/liter, price not exceeding 17,551 VND/liter.
- Mazut oil 180CST 3.5S increased by 359 VND/kg, with the price not exceeding 14,826 VND/kg.
Gasoline prices in Vietnam may change according to international market developments. In the coming time, gasoline prices are expected to increase. Since the beginning of the year, gasoline prices have increased 18 times and decreased 19 times; while oil prices have increased 16 times and decreased 21 times.
In the first 8 months of 2024, the total volume of petroleum produced and imported reached 19.6 million cubic meters, with 42% imported and 58% produced domestically. Major importers met 63.7% of the import target set by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, equivalent to the import volume in the same period last year.
