This women's volleyball tournament has 19 teams with 228 athletes participating. The teams are divided into 6 groups and compete in a round-robin format to select the 8 teams with the best results to enter the quarter-finals. The 4 winning teams of the quarter-finals will enter the semi-finals and the 2 winning teams will enter the finals on the afternoon of July 19 at the Choong Temple Provincial Historical Site, Chau Ly Commune.
