Seeing D.'s difficult situation, Huong introduced a rosy life with a light job and high salary in a foreign land, then took D. to China to sell for 4.5 million VND.

On June 22, Moc Chau District Police, Son La Province, broke up a criminal ring of fraud and human trafficking from Moc Chau District to China, successfully rescuing Ms. Luong Thi D., born in 1992, residing in Dong Sang Commune, Moc Chau District, and arresting Hoang Thi Mai Huong, born in 1984, residing in Ben Trai Village, Quy Huong Commune, Moc Chau District.

According to investigation documents, in 2017, Huong went to Nanning City, China to work for relatives. There, Huong connected with Chinese people and planned to return home, trick women to go to China, sell them to those who wanted to get married or to brothels to get money to share.

In 2018, after returning to Vietnam, Huong met D. Seeing that D. was still in a difficult situation, Huong introduced her to a light job with a high salary in a foreign country. After gaining the victim's trust, in October 2018, Huong took a bus to take D. from Moc Chau to China and sold her for 4.5 million VND.

To prevent D. from escaping back to Vietnam and reporting to the authorities, Huong tricked the victim into writing a confirmation letter stating that D.'s decision to go to China to find work was completely voluntary.

By June 2019, the authorities, in coordination with the family, had successfully rescued and brought D. back to Vietnam. Currently, Moc Chau District Police are completing the case file to handle the subject according to the law.
