(Baonghean.vn) - When Luong Thi Ng. was only 15 years old, she mysteriously disappeared. After more than 7 years of wandering in a foreign land, Ng. was successfully rescued by the criminal police and returned to her family.

Previously, through the investigation work, the Criminal Police Department of Nghe An Province Police received information that in 2012, in Na Ngan village, Nga My commune, Tuong Duong district (Nghe An), Luong Thi Ng. (born in 1997) and Ngan Thi P. (born in 1998) both mysteriously disappeared. The families of the two children had sent many requests for help to the authorities but to no avail.

Suspecting that the two children were sold abroad by bad guys, after many years of perseverance, persistence, and overcoming many difficulties and challenges, on July 4, 2019, the Criminal Police Department (Nghe An Police) coordinated with the Blue Dragon organization to successfully rescue and bring Luong Thi Ng. safely home from the other side of the border (China).

After handing over Luong Thi Ng. to her family, PC02 Department verified and learned that Ngan Thi P. had also escaped home by herself a few months before the rescue of Luong Thi Ng. Because she had been sold for a long time, when she returned home to Nga My commune, Tuong Duong district, many people did not recognize Ngan Thi P.

Identifying the sophisticated and dangerous behavior of the perpetrators, Department PC02 established a special project to fight and arrest the subjects who sold P. and Ng. in 2012. After screening the suspects, the Special Project Board determined that one subject emerged, Luong Thi Khay (born in 1986), residing in Xop Chang village, Yen Hoa commune, Tuong Duong district. This is a criminal subject, often absent from the locality, with many signs of economic ambiguity.

On July 16, 2019, Department PC02 decided to solve the case and arrest Luong Thi Khay. Expanding the investigation, on August 3, 2019, the task force arrested Lo Thi Thanh (born in 1987), residing in Bay village, Nga My commune, Tuong Duong district, while she was hiding in Binh Duong province.

At the investigation agency, although the subjects were evasive and did not admit to their crimes, with sufficient evidence and sharp arguments from the investigators, the two subjects bowed their heads and admitted to selling two children, Ngan Thi P. and Luong Thi Ng., to China in July 2012.

Specifically: in July 2012, Ngan Thi P. and Luong Thi Ng. went to the house of Lo Kim Trong and Lo Thi Thanh, who lived in the same commune, to visit. When they arrived, Trong and Thanh invited the two girls to go to China to work or get married, where they would have a better life than now.

Because of difficult economic conditions and limited awareness (in 2012, P. was only 14 years old, Nga. was 15 years old), the two girls agreed. Afterwards, Luong Thi Khay took them to Vinh City and handed them over to a woman who was married and living in China. Then the two girls were sold to two Chinese men for 120,000 yuan.

Currently, the Criminal Police Department of Nghe An Province Police has initiated a case and prosecuted the accused Luong Thi Khay (born in 1986), residing in Xop Chang village, Yen Hoa commune, Tuong Duong district and Lo Thi Thanh (born in 1987), residing in Bay village, Nga My commune, Tuong Duong district for the act of trafficking in people under 16 years old.

At the same time, the Nghe An Provincial Police Department has detained Lo Thi Thanh. Luong Thi Khay is currently pregnant and has been released on bail.
