In Nam Dan district, 1 case was newly discovered on June 21.

As for Vinh City, the head of the provincial health sector assessed this as one of the hot and very dangerous areas. Except for the two cases in Quy Hop and Tan Ky originating from other localities, the outbreaks all originated from Vinh City, with the main source of infection coming from cases in Ha Tinh.

On the other hand, regarding community infections, many cases were discovered not in the blockaded, isolated, and monitored areas but mainly when they came to see a doctor or receive treatment at hospitals and clinics.

Based on analysis and assessment of the epidemic situation, the head of Nghe An Health Department requested the steering committee for Covid-19 prevention and control in districts, cities and towns.Activating the entire political system and steering committees at all levels at the highest level, with the motto "timely, drastic, synchronous and people-based", on the basis of "4 on-site"; especially, it is necessary to develop scenarios where there is an epidemic in the area to avoid being passive and confused if an epidemic occurs.

Along with that, continue to drastically and synchronously implement the instructions of the National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control, the Ministry of Health, and the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee; timely and effective participation, especially maximizing the activities of the Investigation and Tracing Team in the community in disease prevention and control.

“The investigation and tracing team is extremely important. When they come to work, the investigation and tracing team must have the number of F1s so that we can assess the epidemic situation,” the Director of the Department of Health emphasized the role of the investigation and tracing team; thereby, it is recommended that each district have at least 2 investigation and tracing teams of the district chaired by the police force, and when an epidemic occurs, they must immediately go on duty.

In particular, the Director of the Department of Health emphasized the establishment of Covid-19 tracing teams in the community according to the initial recommendations of the health sector; 40 - 50 households form a team with the motto "going to every alley, knocking on every door".

In addition, localities must prepare, review and consolidate centralized quarantine facilities in accordance with regulations on Covid-19 prevention and control; absolutely do not allow crowds and cross-infection in quarantine areas.

On the other hand, it is necessary to pay attention to the management, supervision, and guidance on disease prevention and control in industrial parks; the steering committees of localities should prepare to develop a vaccination plan in the community; and strengthen propaganda work for the people.

The Health sector has issued a document requesting medical units, including commune-level health facilities, to conduct rapid testing for people who request it. Therefore, it is recommended that localities disseminate information to people and, if possible, proactively purchase rapid Covid-19 test kits.
