On this software system, 2-3 times a day, the hospital updates the locations of epidemic areas according to the announcements of the Ministry of Health and the Department of Health. When someone from an epidemic area comes for medical examination and treatment, the software will display a warning. People coming for medical examination and treatment will be invited to the screening room for consultation, isolation, sample collection and appropriate treatment arrangement.
As for people who are not in epidemic areas, medical staff here will disinfect, measure body temperature, require them to follow the 5K recommendations, and receive specific instructions to avoid spreading or contracting Covid-19.

For patients coming from Ha Tinh province, Vinh City General Hospital still receives them as usual, without discrimination or “blocking rivers and banning markets”. However, the hospital also has some additional requirements and pays special attention.
Doctor Pham Van Son - Deputy Director of Vinh City General Hospital said: Patients from Ha Tinh who are admitted for inpatient treatment are the same as patients from other localities. We will ask their relatives to limit their visits; at the same time, we will make a detailed list of information to prevent epidemic situations. To better prevent the epidemic, the hospital is studying to arrange a treatment room for each department specifically for patients who are residents of the epidemic area of Ha Tinh province. These patients will be screened, tested and have their health checked regularly.

Accordingly, the Department of Health requires medical examination and treatment facilities to review all patients being treated at the unit, detect patients coming from localities implementing lockdown and social distancing in localities across the country (especially from Ha Tinh province after May 30, 2021); cases with epidemiological factors related to Covid-19 patients must make a list, conduct epidemiological investigation, conduct isolation, take samples for testing according to regulations; at the same time, notify the local Medical Center, the Provincial Center for Disease Control to coordinate in implementing measures.Covid-19 preventionin accordance with regulations.
