Nghe An Provincial Party Secretary attends the 20th Congress of Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030

Comrade Tran Cam Tu - Politburo member, Standing member of the Party Central Committee Secretariat attended and directed the congress.

Attending the congress were leaders and former leaders of the Party, State, central departments, ministries, branches, Military Region 4, provinces and cities. Nghe An province leaders attending the congress included comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee.

Focus on comprehensive, fast and sustainable development

The political report stated that in the past term, despite facing many difficulties and challenges, with resilience, solidarity and aspiration to rise up, the Party Committee, government, army and people of Ha Tinh province made great efforts to overcome natural disasters and epidemics, focusing on recovery and promoting socio-economic development.

The Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee continues to focus on Party building in terms of politics, ideology, and ethics, contributing to firmly protecting the ideological foundation and strengthening people's trust in the Party. Organizational and personnel work; inspection and supervision; internal affairs, judicial reform, prevention and combat of corruption, waste, and negativity have achieved many positive results.

The economy continues to grow, reaching 6.4%/year, the economic scale reaches 126,000 billion VND, 1.5 times higher than at the beginning of the term; GRDP per capita is 94 million VND. The economic structure shifts in the right direction; budget revenue for the 2021 - 2025 period is estimated at 88,500 billion VND, an increase of 1.6 times compared to the previous period.

Industrial production continues to be the main driving force, growing by nearly 7% per year; many large-scale projects are being implemented such as: Vung Ang II Thermal Power Plant, Bac Thach Ha Industrial Park (VSIP), Vinhomes Vung Ang, battery and electric car factories... Agriculture grows by more than 3% per year, meeting the province's targets for completing the task of building new rural areas.

Culture and society achieved many positive results; education and training achieved outstanding and quite comprehensive results; social security was ensured with many creative and effective methods; the whole province built more than 12,000 solid houses for poor households and policy families; the poverty rate decreased to 1.9%.

With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Breakthrough - Development", the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee demonstrates high political determination for the period 2025 - 2030, orientation to 2035, vision to 2045: "Building a clean and strong Party and political system; promoting the tradition of solidarity, cultural values, people and high-quality human resources; innovation, comprehensive, fast and sustainable development".

In the 2025 - 2030 term, Ha Tinh province has set the goal of building a clean and strong Party and political system; developing industry, agriculture and services; a synchronous and gradually modern infrastructure system; proactively adapting to climate change and protecting the environment; promoting cultural values, people and high-quality human resources; promoting digital transformation, expanding foreign relations, strengthening national defense and security; constantly improving the material and spiritual life and health of the people.

The Congress drafted 31 specific targets, 5 key tasks, 3 breakthroughs and focused implementation, and 17 main groups of solutions.

Striving to be the new growth pole of the North Central region

Speaking at the congress, comrade Tran Cam Tu - Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat sent the Politburo, the Secretariat, and General Secretary To Lam's deep condolences to the Party Committee, government, and people of Ha Tinh province for the severe impacts and damages caused by storm No. 10 recently.

Affirming that Ha Tinh is a locality rich in revolutionary tradition and emphasizing some outstanding results the province has achieved in the past term, comrade Tran Cam Tu congratulated and commended the efforts, struggles and comprehensive results of the province, actively contributing to the overall achievements of the whole country.

In the new term, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu suggested that Ha Tinh continue to identify building and rectifying the Party and the political system as key; persistently build a clean and strong Party organization in terms of ideology, ethics and organization; maintain solidarity and unity, creating endogenous strength; promote the responsibility of leaders with the motto "words go hand in hand with actions, do more than talk, hold fewer meetings".

Continue to strictly implement the Central Committee's major policies and resolutions, especially the key thematic resolutions issued in 2025; actively study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle and regulations on setting examples for cadres and party members.

Innovate personnel work; build a team of truly exemplary cadres with good thinking and capacity; protect dynamic, innovative cadres who dare to think and dare to do; continue to strengthen inspection and supervision work; focus on internal affairs, fight against corruption, negativity and waste.

At the same time, focus on building an honest government that operates effectively, efficiently, and effectively. Build a team of grassroots cadres with comprehensive capacity, close to the people, dedicated and devoted. Promote digital transformation, promote administrative reform; build a transparent and convenient digital government.

Ha Tinh province needs to continue to focus on rapid and sustainable economic development, strive to achieve the target of double-digit economic growth; promptly and effectively carry out key tasks and strategic breakthroughs: promoting digital economy, developing modern in-depth industry, building ecological agriculture, goods...

Comrade Tran Cam Tu emphasized: Ha Tinh needs to clearly define its position in the national and regional development strategy, striving to be a new growth pole of the North Central region, both a large-scale industrial and energy center and a gateway for international trade.

Developing logistics services, forming an important economic sector; gradually building Ha Tinh into a regional and national freight and warehouse transit center; investing in timely and synchronous seaports, connecting with highways to create a complete traffic and trade network.
