Therefore, to effectively raise shrimp in the summer, it is best to protect the shrimp from the heat by all means. However, it depends on the economic conditions of each family.

For Mr. Dai, over the years, he has invested hundreds of millions of dong in covering shrimp with heat-resistant nets. The frame is welded from steel and covered with heat-resistant nets. For households that do not have the conditions, many solutions are applied. Mr. Le Minh Thang, hamlet 5, Dien Trung commune (Dien Chau) shared: Because the investment cost to prevent heat for shrimp is high, the family does not have the conditions to implement it.

To prevent heat for shrimp in the summer, he adjusted the water level in the pond to 120 - 130 cm, instead of 80 - 100 cm in the winter, while continuously changing the water and increasing the water fan to stir the water, ensuring the balance of temperature, salinity and oxygen in the surface water layer and the lower water layer; avoiding the formation of anaerobic conditions that cause accumulation of toxic gases at the bottom layer, as well as the difference in temperature and salinity that can shock the shrimp.
