According to investigation documents, on the evening of July 17, Tran Dinh Nhat (17 years old, residing in An Xuan ward) and some friends went to the monument in Tam Phu commune to play and had a conflict with a group led by Bui Dinh Tam (13 years old, residing in Hoa Thuan ward). Nhat told the story to Tran Dinh Vu (27 years old), then together with Vo Linh (31 years old) through Cao Van Cong (18 years old) expressed their desire to reconcile by drinking on July 20.
That night, dozens of people attended and agreed to make peace. However, Lam Tan Hoa (24 years old, Cong's friend) suddenly appeared, loudly wanting to see the face of the person who had fought with Tam the day before. Everyone at the drinking table tried to stop him because the matter had been resolved.
Hoa still spoke loudly, promising to deal with anyone the next day if he met them. Linh responded with a defiant attitude and the two sides agreed to meet on the street.Nguyen Van Troi fights.
