Medical lecturers must have a certificate to practice medicine.

(Baonghean.vn) - That is one of the mandatory requirements in opening university-level training majors related to medicine as stipulated by the Ministry of Education and Training in Circular No.22/2017/TT-BGDDT takes effect in October 2017.

Clause c of Section 2, Article 2 stipulates: Lecturers and instructors of practical subjects and modules related to medical examination and treatment must have a certificate of practice in medical examination and treatment, and have worked or are working directly at medical examination and treatment facilities that meet the conditions of being practice facilities in training health groups according to regulations.

This is one of the necessary conditions to open a university training program. Specifically, to open a university training program, the following criteria must be met:

- Suitable for the needs of society and learners, as well as human resources for the socio-economic development of the locality, region and the whole country, and especially suitable for the functions and tasks of the training institution.

- The name of the registered training major must be in the List of Level IV Education and Training.

- Regarding the team of lecturers and permanent researchers, the quantity, quality, qualifications and training structure must be ensured, not overlapping with the permanent lecturers who are the conditions for university-level training of other majors being trained, including at least 01 PhD in the same major responsible for presiding over, organizing and implementing the training program and committing to ensuring training quality before the training institution and society.

- Facilities, equipment, library, and textbooks meet the requirements of teaching, research, and learning according to the requirements of the registered university training program.

- Training program and other conditions for program implementation.
