Propaganda work meeting of 7 provinces in Nghe An

(Baonghean.vn) - For 3 days (May 12-14), in Nghe An, the Propaganda Department of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee hosted the Propaganda Work Meeting of 7 provinces from Ninh Binh to Thua Thien - Hue.

Attending the meeting were comrade Nguyen Van Thong - Deputy Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee and leaders of the Propaganda Department of the provinces: Thua Thien - Hue, Quang Tri, Quang Binh, Ha Tinh, Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, Ninh Binh.

Before the meeting, the working delegations of the provinces went to Kim Lien relic site to offer flowers, incense, and report to President Ho Chi Minh on the occasion of the 127th anniversary of his birth and offered flowers and incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland at Truong Bon historical relic site, My Son commune, Do Luong district.

At the meeting, the Propaganda Departments of the provinces informed and exchanged experiences in advising Party committees to organize learning, propaganda, dissemination and implementation of Party directives and resolutions; work of grasping public opinion, promptly guiding propaganda and orienting ideology for major activities and events of the locality and the country among cadres, party members and people; experience in leadership and direction of press, publishing, reporter activities and oral propaganda.

The Provincial Propaganda Departments also exchanged experiences in implementing Directive 05 of the Politburo (12th tenure) on continuing to promote studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle with good, creative, synchronous and effective ways, creating great influence among the people.

Propaganda work on seas and islands, border demarcation and marker planting, foreign information, especially encouraging fishermen to go out to sea, participate in protecting the Fatherland, ensuring border security; propaganda, creating a strong change in people's awareness of building new rural areas, developing and replicating effective economic models, building a new cultural life at the grassroots level.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Thong congratulated the outstanding results that the Propaganda Departments of the provinces have achieved in recent times.

Comrade Nguyen Van Thong informed about the socio-economic situation of Nghe An province in recent times, and acknowledged that the annual exchange of experiences in Propaganda work of 7 provinces is a forum and a good opportunity to strengthen solidarity, exchange experiences with each other, and effective ways of doing the Party's Propaganda work, especially in the conditions where the localities have similarities in geography, culture, economy, and society.

On behalf of the leaders of Nghe An province, comrade Nguyen Van Thong hopes that the leaders, cadres and experts of the Propaganda Department of the provinces will continue to accompany the Party Committee and people of Nghe An province to build the province to increasingly develop all aspects of socio-economic life, strive to become a fairly developed province in the Northern region, and successfully implement Resolution 26-NQ/TW of the Politburo on the direction and tasks for the development of Nghe An province until 2020./.
