The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has summarized that "The quality of education is inseparable from the quality of the teacher." More than anyone else, teachers are directly involved in the policy design process through their participation in curriculum development and textbook compilation. Teachers are also the ones who directly implement and convey these policies to educate students who develop qualities and competencies in the sense of self-creativity. The value of a teacher is an eternal value for each individual, for each family, for an entire nation, and for all of humanity. That value will never change or disappear. The challenge lies in formulating policies that maximize the benefits of nurturing future generations.

Education experts suggest that the Ministry of Education and Training needs to conduct a comprehensive restructuring of the teacher training system, along with standards to ensure improved training quality; and establish a separate admissions mechanism for teacher training schools, ensuring the selection of talented, capable, and dedicated individuals.

Teacher training at all levels, from preschool to primary and secondary education, in teacher training colleges needs to be linked to practical application and experimentation at educational institutions; there should be regulations on specific mechanisms for honoring teachers (titles, symbols of professional contributions, appreciation programs, mechanisms for exceptional recognition, etc.); creating mechanisms to mobilize individuals and organizations both domestically and internationally to support, reward, and encourage teachers, thereby motivating them to dedicate themselves to their work.

In the face of modern societal demands, teachers must not only uphold traditional moral values ​​but also be educators who keep pace with developmental needs. They must not only be role models for self-improvement and professional development but also fair teachers who listen, share, and even debate with students to uncover the truth. They must not only transmit knowledge but also guide and inspire students, fostering a high level of self-awareness in their learning through personal effort, unlocking creative potential, and providing an environment for expression. The efforts and dedication of teachers serve as the best example, the benchmark, and the ultimate goal for students to admire and emulate.

Therefore, Vietnamese Teachers' Day is not only a day for society to honor the noble significance of the teaching profession and those who work in it, but also an opportunity for each teacher to reflect on themselves, continuously cultivate their ethics and character, improve their professional skills, and uphold the integrity of a teacher.
