Teachers take the joy, progress and success of their students as their career ideal and their way of life without ever measuring or calculating. The value of a teacher is an eternal value for each individual, for each family, for a nation and for humanity. That value will never change or disappear. The difficulty is to formulate policies so that that value can be maximized for the cause of educating people.

Education experts say that the Ministry of Education and Training needs to conduct a comprehensive re-planning of the teacher training school system with standards to ensure improved training quality; have a separate admission mechanism for teacher training schools, ensuring the selection of talented, capable and dedicated people.

The training of teachers at all levels of preschool and general education in pedagogical schools needs to be carried out in conjunction with practice and experimentation at educational institutions; there needs to be regulations on special honoring mechanisms for teachers (titles, symbols of professional dedication, gratitude programs, extraordinary honoring mechanisms...; creating mechanisms to mobilize individuals and organizations at home and abroad to participate in supporting, rewarding, encouraging teachers, and creating motivation for teachers to contribute.

Teachers, in response to the demands of modern society, must not only stop at traditional moral values ​​but must be educators who keep up with the needs of development; Not only be an example of self-training to improve qualifications but also be a fair teacher, know how to listen, know how to share, even debate with students to get to the bottom of right and wrong; Not only be a person who conveys knowledge but also a person who guides and inspires students, making students highly self-aware of learning with personal efforts, creative abilities are opened, and an environment is created for expression. The efforts and dedication of teachers are the best example, the measure, the destination for students to admire and follow.

Therefore, Vietnamese Teachers' Day is not only a day for society to honor the noble meaning of the teaching profession and those who work in the teaching profession, but also an opportunity for each teacher to look back at himself, constantly cultivate ethics and personality, improve professional qualifications, and uphold the morality of those who sow knowledge./.
