Helping two girls resolve conflicts over social media, two young men fight to death
Two girls had a conflict on social media and arranged to meet to "talk". Defending the girl, two young men who were with her got into a fight, resulting in one person being stabbed to death.
The investigation agency has decided to temporarily detain Nguyen Hai Au (26 years old, residing in Ngai Tu commune) to investigate the act of murder.
According to initial investigation, Chau Hoang Xuan Tien (20 years old) and Vo Thi Ngoc Huyen (21 years old, Au's girlfriend) had a conflict on social media. The reason was that Tien commented on Huyen's Tik Tok video posted on Facebook.
On the evening of January 16, Au and Huyen were at a billiards club in Binh Ninh hamlet, when Huyen texted Tien to make an appointment to meet.
At this time, Tien informed her boyfriend Pham Quoc Tuan (21 years old), and Pham Thi Huyen Anh (22 years old, residing in Dong Thanh commune, Binh Minh town).
The group then, along with Pham Van Ty (22 years old, Tuan's brother), met Huyen and Au at a billiards club to resolve the conflict.
When they met, Huyen and Tien argued. Tien threw her helmet at Huyen but broke the glass cabinet.
Huyen used a billiard cue to attack Tien but was stopped by everyone. At this time, Au and Ty also argued and fought.
Whileaffray, Au took a knife and stabbed Ty in the chest, causing the victim to die on the way to the emergency room.
Au was also injured and was taken to Vinh Long General Hospital for treatment. An autopsy showed that Ty died of acute blood loss shock.
According to local people, there was no previous conflict between Tuan, Au and Ty. Because they defended the girls, these young men fought and led to the murder.
