The world's first 5G network package has just been announced.
A network operator has just announced the world's first 5G network package, with incredible speed and users have to pay about 1.3 million VND/month.
Next year could be the year of the 5G smartphone boom and many network operators around the world are rushing to deploy infrastructure for 5G networks.
Two weeks ago, a South Korean carrier tested the first 5G video call. However, the commercialization and exact cost of 5G packages are not yet known.
Even though China is considered the world's largest smartphone market, 5G networks will likely only be commercialized in a few major cities in the fourth quarter of next year.
However, Finnish network operator Elisha has just excited people by announcing the world's first commercial 5G network package. Accordingly, the cost of unlimited 5G network for customers is 57 USD (about 1.3 million VND) per month.

According toGizchina, the speed of this package can reach up to 600 Mbps (the fastest 4G network speed in the world belongs to Singapore, with an average of 44.31 Mbps).
This can be seen as the basis for other network operators around the world to consider offering suitable 5G network packages.
Last June, Elisha claimed to be the first network operator in the world to commercialize 5G network. However, Elisha later had to cancel the plan due to infrastructure and terminal equipment.

Currently, China's three major carriers are also conducting 5G network tests: China Mobile, China Unicom and China Telecom. These carriers have all opened 5G stations in Beijing.
5G network speed can theoretically reach 2.8Gbps, which means you can download a movie with a capacity of tens of gigabytes in a few minutes. With smartphones used in practice, it certainly cannot be that fast.
In Vietnam, 5G network will likely be first commercially deployed in Ho Chi Minh City in 2020.
