Two 5 year old children drowned in a wood pond

(Baonghean.vn)- While visiting a neighbor's sick family with their parents, two 5-year-old children went out to play in the pond and unfortunately drowned.

Accordingly, on the evening of August 23, Ho Van Hung (5 years old, son of Ho Van Han) and Nguyen Van Hai (5 years old, son of Nguyen Van Duong) and their parents went to hamlet 12, Quynh Lam commune to visit their grandfather who had just returned from the hospital.

Neighbors came to offer condolences to the family of two children who died from drowning.

While the adults were talking in the house, Hung and Hai invited each other to go out to play.

While preparing dinner, everyone panicked and did not see the two children, so they went looking for them. They discovered that the water in the pond was murky, and suspected that the two children had fallen in, so some people jumped in to search. After more than an hour of searching, the bodies of the two children were brought to shore because they were stuck under a pile of wood soaked in the pond.

On the afternoon of August 24, the authorities of Quynh Lam commune and neighbors visited and offered condolences to the families of two boys who died from drowning.
