These two editors are familiar faces on television, responsible for reading the commentary for the A80 parade at Ba Dinh Square on September 2.

The grand ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2 will take place solemnly at Ba Dinh Square, Hanoi, on the morning of September 2, starting at 6:30 a.m.

BTV Hoài Anh và BTV Hữu Bằng đảm nhận đọc thuyết minh lễ diễu binh, diễu hành kỷ niệm 80 năm Quốc khánh tại Quảng trường Ba Đình ngày 2/9.
Editors Hoai Anh and Huu Bang were in charge of reading the commentary for the parade celebrating the 80th anniversary of National Day at Ba Dinh Square on September 2.

Sharing about this special opportunity, Editor Hoai Anh expressed:“This is a great honor and pride in my life and career, perhaps there will be no second chance. This is the first time in my life that I have taken on the role of a narrator at a major parade or march, I clearly feel the immense pressure."

The female news anchor said that reading the commentary in the square with tens of thousands of live viewers and millions of people watching on the screen is very different from reading the news in the studio. Before the grand ceremony, she and the VTV crew had many rehearsals and practiced from early morning to late night right at Ba Dinh Square.

Hoai Anh was moved when talking about the dedication and seriousness of the commentary team and the leaders in the group: both majestic in military style and close and friendly when supporting non-professionals like her.“There are long days of practice, exhausted, but when I get home I can't sleep because the emotional aftertaste is still there.", the female editor shared.

The female editor was impressed by the image of the resilient soldiers on duty, despite the pouring rain, still standing solemnly on the roads, guard posts and around the area of Uncle Ho's Mausoleum, showing a sense of responsibility and respect or the sense of order of the people lining up to visit the Mausoleum. In contrast to the images of jostling, pushing or littering shared on social networks, here everyone walked gently and neatly, "as if afraid to disturb Uncle Ho's sleep".

Like Editor Hoai Anh, Editor Huu Bang shared his pride in being part of the commentary team for the parade celebrating the 80th anniversary of National Day.

According to the Organizing Committee, the members of the parade commentary team all have many years of experience in radio and television broadcasting, and have undergone a rigorous selection process and rigorous training before taking on the task. They are the “bridge” that brings the meaning, solemnity and emotion of the great holiday to millions of people across the country and international friends.
