Two units responsible for distributing and franchising for Seven Am were fined 170 million VND by market management, but not for violating "Chinese labeling".

Today (November 30), the General Department of Market Management announced the verification results after information that the Seven Am fashion store chain imported more Chinese goods but changed the label to "made in Vietnam" on some products such as towels, clothes, and underwear.

The General Department of Market Management said that all Seven AM branded goods are distributed by MHA Joint Stock Company. The dresses and clothes are manufactured at Bao Anh International Fashion Company Limited, located on the 4th and 5th floors of 135 Tran Phu Building - Ha Dong - Hanoi.

The General Department of Market Management said it has not yet discovered any signs of purchasing foreign textiles and garments to attach trademarks and labels as previously reported. This unit said it is continuing to monitor and inspect the activities of MHA Joint Stock Company, Bao Anh International Fashion Company Limited and related units to clarify.

However, after inspection, the General Department of Market Management discovered violations by MHA Joint Stock Company and Thu Ky International Fashion Company Limited.
