International media reported that Miss Honduras 2016 - Sirey Moran has just been stripped of her crown by the organizing committee. The director of the contest - Mr. Carlos Rivera said that this decision was made after the new beauty queen did not fulfill her duties as the head of the beauty contest. She often appeared in promotional events without the consent of the organizing committee.

Meanwhile, on her personal page a few hours ago, the beauty expressed surprise at the decision of the organizing committee. She affirmed that she is still the beauty queen and the crown belongs to her.

“There is no official information at this time. I am surprised by the words of the organizers but I am still the beauty queen, the owner of the crown and I will fight to keep my crown,” Moran said.

Sirey Moran was crowned Miss Universe Honduras 2016 in November 2015 during the finale held in San Pedro Sula. She also represented her beautiful country at the Miss Universe 2016 pageant.

At the time of her coronation, she was highly regarded for her beautiful, sexy face and graceful style. In Honduras, Sirey is a familiar face in beauty pageants.
