Two students drowned while bathing in a stream
(Baonghean.vn) - Five students from Tan An Secondary School invited each other to go play in Khe Sanh. After setting out cakes and fruits on the shore to eat after bathing, two of them jumped in to bathe and both drowned.
On April 29, 2022, the authorities of Nghia Phuc commune (Tan Ky) said that there had just been a case in the area.tragic drowningcausing the death of two students.
The victims were D.T.Ph (born in 2008), residing in Tan Thinh hamlet, Tan An commune, Tan Ky district and HSTh (born in 2007), residing in Hung Cuong hamlet, Ky Son commune, Tan Ky district.

According to local people, at 3:30 p.m. the same day, in Khe Sanh area (also known as Khe Un) bordering Nghia Phuc and Tan An communes, 5 students (3 boys, 2 girls) of Tan An Secondary School invited each other to go swimming. Before swimming, they placed fruits and cakes on the shore to eat after bathing.
Ph. jumped in to swim but unfortunately started to sink. Seeing this, Th. jumped in to save her and also started to sink. Seeing her two friends drowning, the other girl panicked and called for help.
Hearing the cry for help, people working nearby jumped in and brought the two children to shore, but unfortunately they had already died.
Currently, Tan Ky District Police have made a record and the families have brought the children's bodies home for burial according to local customs.
