Two Journalists in Nghe An honored as 'Outstanding Journalists' nationwide

Attending the conference were comrades: Tran Quoc Vuong - Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat. Also attending the conference were comrades Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee: Vo Van Thuong - Head of the Central Propaganda Department; Truong Thi Mai - Head of the Central Mass Mobilization Department; Nguyen Van Binh - Head of the Central Economic Department; Tran Thanh Man - Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and comrade Vu Duc Dam - Party Central Committee member, Deputy Prime Minister along with leaders of ministries, branches, and press agencies nationwide.

The conference was chaired by the Central Propaganda Department, in coordination with the Ministry of Information and Communications, Vietnam Journalists Association, Nhan Dan Newspaper and Vietnam Television.

Nghe An province has 2 honored representatives: Journalist Nhat Lan (Nghe An Newspaper) and Journalist Khanh Ly (Nghe An Radio and Television Station).

Journalist Nhat Lan is one of the most active reporters, writing many high-quality articles and special topics that have been recognized by readers and all levels and sectors. In each article, he diligently researches many objective and honest aspects to bring readers full information and events on the issues raised in the article. Journalist Nhat Lan has won many Central and Nghe An provincial press awards. He was also honored by the Party Committee of Nghe An provincial agencies as an outstanding party member in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style.

Journalist Khanh Ly is one of the outstanding reporters in the field of documentary films. Many of her and her colleagues' works have had a great influence when broadcast. She has also won many Central and Nghe An provincial press awards.

During the conference activities, outstanding reporters and journalists from press agencies across the country had discussions to improve their professional skills, share experiences, and continue to better perform their propaganda tasks in the coming time.

Previously, on the afternoon of June 12, National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan met with veteran journalists and 187 outstanding journalists, representing journalists nationwide, attending the Conference "Meeting and honoring outstanding journalists".
