Two sleeper buses collided horribly right in front of the bus station gate.

A collision occurred between two sleeper buses right in front of the Dong Ha Bus Station gate (Dong Ha City, Quang Tri) in the early morning of February 25.

At around 5:00 a.m. on February 25, on National Highway 1, right in front of the gate of Dong Ha Bus Station (in Dong Le Ward, Dong Ha City, Quang Tri), a sleeper bus of Thai Ha Company with license plate 73B - 006.55 driven by Dinh The Khoa (39 years old, residing in Bac Ly Ward, Dong Hoi City, Quang Binh) traveling from south to north collided with a sleeper bus of Tan Quang Dung Company with license plate 74B - 004.52 driven by Nguyen Dang Hung (47 years old, residing in Ward 1, Dong Ha City), which was turning into the bus station.

The extremely strong collision caused the bus BS 73B - 006.55 to spin 180 degrees, crushing the front end, breaking the glass, denting part of the side and causing many types of goods on the bus to be thrown onto the road; driver Khoa suffered a broken leg and had to be taken to the hospital for emergency treatment.

Meanwhile, the bus BS 74B - 004.52 crashed straight, crashed through a section of the bus station fence and was also dented and damaged in the front and sides; the windows on the bus were broken...

Immediately after the accident occurred, the Traffic Police (Dong Ha City Police) and Quang Tri Provincial Police immediately arrived, protected the scene, and investigated the cause of the accident.

“The bus with license plate 73B - 006.55 was “turning around” from the South, so there was only the driver and the bus assistant on board. The bus with license plate 74B - 004.52 was entering the station to pick up passengers, and there was no one on board,” said Lieutenant Colonel Le Manh Hung, Captain of the Traffic Police Team (Dong Ha City Police).
