South Korea: North Korea ready for new nuclear test
North Korea has completed preparations for its next nuclear test and may use a new tunnel at its mountain test site.

"Indications have been gathered that North Korea has completed preparations to conduct a nuclear test at any time in a third tunnel that has not been used before," Yonhap quoted a South Korean government source as saying.
The testing site mentioned isPunggye-ri, near North Korea's northeastern coast, was the site of five of the country's previous nuclear explosions, but it is unclear what the newly detected activity was.
Pyongyang conducted its fifth and largest nuclear test on September 9, claiming it had achieved the ability to miniaturize a warhead to mount on a ballistic missile.
The Security Council condemned North Korea's actions and said it would adopt a resolution quickly. The United States, Britain and France had pushed for the 15-member body to impose new sanctions.
South Korea believes that North Korea's nuclear capabilities are increasing rapidly.US Special Representative for North Korea Sung Kim will arrive in Seoul today after discussions with Japanese officials about cooperation between the neighbors following the move.
