Dozens of Nghe An people gathered to "fly and shake" in a karaoke bar

Speaking to reporters of Nghe An Newspaper on the morning of March 26, Colonel Vo Trong Hai - Director of Ha Tinh Provincial Police said that he had just reported to the Standing Committee of Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee the incident of dozens of young people "flying and shaking" in a Karaoke bar in Xuan An town, Nghi Xuan district, Ha Tinh, amid the complicated developments of the Covid-19 epidemic.

"The point of view is to handle it strictly. We are currently continuing to investigate and classify. If there are enough elements, we will prosecute criminally," said the head of Ha Tinh Provincial Police.

Early this morning, Ha Tinh police raided a karaoke bar in Xuan An town, Nghi Xuan district, Ha Tinh province, catching more than 70 young people in the act of "flying and shaking". Among them were 25 women. This hotel is located on National Highway 1A, only a few kilometers from Vinh city.

At the time of the raid, the bar had a sign that read "temporarily closed due to Covid-19". After a quick test, all of these people tested positive for drugs.

"Most of these 70 young people come from Nghe An. Some of them have just returned from Laos. I have directed that all of them be quarantined for 14 days to prevent the epidemic," Colonel Vo Trong Hai shared with Nghe An Newspaper reporters.
